Airedale will be back on tour in 2023 with a trip to Florida to visit the Kennedy Space Center in which they will meet an astronaut and visit the Saturn V rocket, Space Shuttle Atlantis and view the launch pad that Space X use to launch astronauts into space (and was the launch pad that was used to launch Neil Armstrong to the moon in 1969!) Students will also be visiting Universal Studios theme park and Islands of Adventure as well as watching the Blue Man Group perform.
We expect it will be a popular trip and there are only 40 places, so students have until Friday 20 May 2022 to return the provisional letter and pay the deposit of £250 through MCAS. The trip will be live on MCAS from Monday 16 May for all students in current Y7 to Y10. If more than 40 students pay the deposit between Monday and Friday, we will hold a raffle to determine which students will be confirmed on the trip. Students can still be added after Friday 20 May, however if all the places have been taken, they will be added to the reserve list.
Students will be contacted at the end of the week to confirm if they have a place. Students who have not been successful will be placed onto a reserve list, should be a place become available later on.
